Brendan Zurbrugg Locks in Syracuse Official Visit
Class of 2024 Alliance (OH) High quarterback Brendan Zurbrugg has scheduled an official visit to Syracuse for the weekend of June 16th, he tells All Syracuse. Zurbrugg is listed at 6-4, 185 lbs per his Twitter bio, and previously took an unofficial visit to Central New York in April. He threw for 2,184 yards and 23 touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes as a junior. He also ran for 804 yards and 11 more scores.
Zurbrugg reports offers from Maine, Youngstown State, Colgate, Liberty, Eastern Michigan, Yale, Dartmouth, Ball State, Akron, Kent State, Miami (OH), Bowling Green and Toledo. He is also receiving interest from Iowa State, Duke and Cincinnati. He currently does not hold a Syracuse offer.
In addition to being a football star at Alliance High, Zurbrugg is also an accomplished track athlete. He runs the 300m hurdles and 110m hurdles, and even won the regional title in the 300m. Zubrugg was an All Eastern Buckeye Conference selection in both.
Zubrugg is rated a three star prospect by On3. He is not rated by 247Sports, ESPN or Rivals. Zurbrugg will join OL Terez Davis, DL Elijah Kinsler, OL Jack Small and WR Syair Torrence as official visitors the weekend of June 16th. The Orange is also expected to host visitors this coming weekend and the weekend of June 9th.
