Clinton Robinson Commits to Syracuse
Class of 2024 Pittsburgh (PA) Keys Oaks defensive back Clinton Robinson has committed to Syracuse following his official visit over the weekend, he announced on social media. The 6-1, 190 pounder is expected to play safety for the Orange and picked SU over offers from Kent State, Temple and West Virginia, among others.
Robinson is rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports and ranked as the 115th best player at his position as well as the 34th best player overall in the state of Pennsylvania. He has not been evaluated by ESPN, On3 or Rivals to date.
Syracuse has been at the top of Robinson's recruitment since April when he was extended an offer during an unofficial visit.
'We talked to the head coach at the end of everything," Robinson said following that April visit. "As soon as we walked in, before we started talking, he said you're offered, full ride. Words can't explain how happy I was at that moment."
That joy continued throughout the recruiting process and culminated in this past weekend's official visit, which sealed the deal. It led to Robinson ending his recruitment and giving the Orange coaches another verbal pledge. He becomes the third player to publicly announce his commitment from the official visitors, joining running back Jaden Hart and linebacker Zekai Wimberly.
