Elijah Moore Named Offensive MVP of Adidas 3SSB
Syracuse basketball commit Elijah Moore had a strong weekend on the Adidas AAU circuit, participating in the 3SSB event. Moore was named Offensive MVP by The Season Ticket as well as being named to the Adidas 3SSB First Team. Moore is a 6-4 shooting guard in the 2024 class and picked the Orange over a host of other high major programs. He is considered a top 70 prospect by recruiting services.
Statistics were not available for each of Moore's four games during the session on the Adidas AAU website. However, stats were available for his first game, in which he made six of 11 three pointers on his way to 24 points and dished out one assist.
Moore was Syracuse's first commit in its 2024 class out of Cardinal Hayes High School in New York. The 6-4 shooting guard is known as one of, if not the, best shooter in the class.
The Orange is after several other high profile recruits in the 2024 cycle, including forward Donnie Freeman, guard Jalil Bethea and guard Mikey Lewis. Lewis was just offered within the last few days after leading the first EYBL session in scoring. Freeman and Bethea have both taken official visits.
