Elite Quarterback Recruit Jayden Bradford 'Fired Up' For Syracuse Offer
Syracuse football extended a scholarship offer to class of 2024 quarterback Jayden Bradford recently. Bradford, a 6-0 185 pound signal caller, stars for IMG Academy. In addition to the Orange, he holds offers from Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Louisville, Missouri, NC State, Penn State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech, among others. Bradford completed 78% of his passes and threw 19 touchdowns last season, according to MaxPreps.
"Me and coach Beck and coach Harris have been in contact for a few weeks," Bradford said. "They have been doing some research on getting to know me and I've done the same for them. [Wednesday] I gave him a call and he blessed me with the offer. Excited to continue to build the relationships we've started and can't wait to get up there sometime this spring."
That means Bradford wants to visit Syracuse. Nothing has been scheduled yet, but the Orange will try to get him on campus for a spring practice to showcase how the coaches coach as well as the culture of the program.
While the relationship is still in its early stages, Bradford was pumped about the offer.
"I was fired up just for them to have faith in me and my ability," Bradford said. "Means a lot. I look forward to building the relationships I've established and can't wait to get up there sometime this spring."
Bradford is rated a four star prospect by ESPN and Rivals, and a three star prospect by 247Sports and On3.
