Four Star CB Kevyn Humes Reclassifies to 2024, Schedules Syracuse Official Visit
Elite cornerback prospect Kevyn Humes has reclassified from 2025 to 2024, according to a report from On3.
“Me and my family and coaches have been talking about this since the beginning of the year,” Humes said via On3. “I got serious about it after our last game against IMG Academy and I made the final decision to reclassify about two weeks ago.”
In addition to reclassifying, Humes has scheduled two official visits including one to Syracuse.
“I will be at Syracuse on Jan. 12 and Penn State on Jan. 19," Humes said via On3. "I have never visited Syracuse, but Coach Fran Brown has been recruiting me since he was at Rutgers. We have built a good relationship. Penn State is a school I have visited three times and my relationship with Coach Terry Smith has skyrocketed this season. I am very familiar with Penn State.”
Humes is considered a four star prospect by ESPN and Rivals. Rivals ranks him as the 86th best player overall while ESPN slots him 241st. 247Sports and On3 rate him as a three star prospect. Those are class of 2025 rankings though, so he will be reevaluated with him he fits into 2024 in the near future.
In addition to Syracuse and Penn State, Humes holds offers from Auburn, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Wisconsin and others.
