Five talented prospects will get a closer look at Syracuse football this summer as they have locked in official visits. Here are those prospects and where things stand with each.
WR Jeff Exinor - June 14th
The four star wide receiver stars for McDonough School in Maryland. Several other power five programs are after him, but Syracuse's top competition are Penn State and Maryland. The Orange is battling the Big Ten programs but has a strong relationship with him. Syracuse made a big impression last month during an unofficial visit, and now has the chance to make a bigger one this summer.
CB Dawayne Galloway - June 14th
The four star cornerback stars for Marion-Franklin High in Ohio. Purdue and Kentucky are the schools after him the hardest besides Syracuse, with other like Colorado, Georgia, Michigan and Michigan State also lurking. Still, Galloway has a very strong relationship with Orange head coach Fran Brown, which will keep SU heavily involved throughout has recruitment. This official visit is a chance for Syracuse to separate themselves. I consider Syracuse one of the top contenders, but it is hard to pick a singular favorite at this juncture.
LB EahJay McAdams - June 7th
McAdams plays for West Orange High in New Jersey. Syracuse is his lone power five offer to date, but the Orange sees a lot of potential here. If Syracuse can make a big impression during the official visit, and depending on who else gets involved between now and then, there is a shot at an early commitment.
ATH Bo MacCormack - May 31st
One of the top players in New England in 2025, MacCormack is an athlete who has the potential to play a variety of positions at the collegiate level. Boston College, Nebraska, Rutgers and Syracuse are among the power five schools that have offered. Syracuse is prioritizing him and he will be on campus for an unofficial on March 28th and an official on March 31st. Look for the Orange to roll out the red carpet for him and try to gain some separate in his recruitment. Boston College is considered the top threat right now.
RB Kentrell Rinehart - June 14th
The four star running back has a plethora of power five offers, with Syracuse, Indiana and Kentucky among those recruiting him the hardest right now. Minnesota and NC State are also right there. Rinehart and Galloway are friends, so their recruitments may be tied together to some extent. Syracuse prioritized Rinehart early and will look to make a big impression on the official visit. All of the aforementioned schools are threats to the Orange at this point, but Indiana and Kentucky stick out a little bit more than the other two.
