Syracuse 4-Star Commit Jamie Tremble Has Eye Popping Stat Line
Syracuse four star tight end commit Jamie Tremble played well this past week. That is the understatement of the year. His stat line was video game like. His Wesleyan (GA) squad won 50-28 over Gilmer on Homecoming Night, but Tremble stole the show. He finished the game with eight catches for 201 yards and three touchdowns. Not too bad to say the least.
Tremble committed to Syracuse back in June as a four star tight end prospect out of Georgia. He picked the Orange over offers from Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and others.
"Especially after my official visit, it's the best fit for me, honestly," Tremble said at the time. "The position I play as a split out tight end, just how Oronde Gadsden plays, thinking about how programs are going to use me I think they would be utilize my skill set. After the official visit, looking around campus, thinking about all they had to offer with that coaching staff, that nailed my decision. That's the main reason, they fit my skill set the best."
There are similarities in the skill sets between Gadsden and Tremble. Both have wide receiver like skills, a great frame and tremendous hands. That was on full display in Tremble's monster game this past weekend.
