Class of 2025 four star Nashville (TN) Ensworth defensive lineman Ethan Utley has trimmed his list to five schools and Syracuse made the cut. Utley made the announce on Christmas Day, and also included Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Michigan on his list.

Utley is listed at 6-4, 275 pounds and has the versatility to play tackle or end at the collegiate level. He is considered one of the best at his position as a consensus top 17 defensive lineman by all four major recruiting services. He is also ranked inside the top 200 overall prospects by each.

On3 ranks Utley the highest at 43rd overall and seventh best defensive lineman. ESPN is next slotting him 118th overall and ninth best at his position. Rivals follows at 161st overall and the 10th best defensive lineman. 247Sports ranks him 17th best positionally and 186th best overall. Each recruiting service considers Utley a top five prospect in the state of Tennessee.
