Texas A&M catcher/outfielder Jackson Appel had a career night at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park against the UTSA Roadrunners on Tuesday night, hitting three home runs in the Aggies' 6-5 walk-off win.

The three included the game-winner, as Appel becomes the 11th Aggie in history with three in one game and the first since Jace LaViollete in 2023. It's also the first walk-off for the Aggies since Brett Minnich accomplished that in 2022.

UTSA added a run in the fourth, but Appel once again homered - this time off the scoreboard in left - in the fifth. That scored Braden Montgomery who reached on a single earlier in the frame.
