COLLEGE STATION - Buzz Williams could be in for a challenge during his first season at Texas A&M. Although a promising coach, the Aggies have a chance to struggle early.

The Aggies were predicted to finish 12th in the preseason SEC media poll released Tuesday afternoon. No A&M players were selected to the league's preseason all-conference rosters.

Last season, Texas A&M finished 11th overall in the league, going 6-12 in inside their own conference. Williams took over in College Station after a successful career at Virginia Tech, relieving Billy Kennedy of his duties.

Kennedy would finish with a 14-18 campaign during his final season.

Looking ahead, the Aggies will have a chance to be one of the more veteran rosters in the SEC, returning all five potential starters. The season will begin on November 6 when Northwestern State at Reed Arena.
