Texas A&M Aggies Men's Hoops vs. Ohio State: Preview, How to Watch, Betting Odds

The Texas A&M Aggies have a chance to grab a quad-one non-conference win Friday evening on the road, and if they do so, all narratives surrounding their pre-SEC woes will be out the window.
In this story:

Fresh off of an opening night victory, the Texas A&M Aggies will once again suit up to try and build some early season momentum, as well as a win streak.

In order to do that, however, coach Buzz Williams and company will travel to Columbus to face the Ohio State Buckeyes in an early Power 5 showdown — a stark contrast to their non-conference schedule a year ago.

A lack of dominance against non-Power 5 opponents told the story of the Aggies' pre-SEC campaign last season. After entering the year with high expectations, many wrote off the Aggies before conference play — especially after a home loss to Wofford.

Right off the bat this season, however, Texas A&M has already shown vast improvement, earning a 32-point victory to open its season against Texas A&M-Commerce.

Now, the Aggies have their sights set on Ohio State on the road — another team coming off of an opening night victory. For the Aggies, a win is important.

And they know that.

"This will be good for us later in the season," Aggies guard Tyrece Radford said. "[And] we need this rep. Since I've been here, we haven't had a quad-one win in non conference [play]. I think it'll be good for our organization to get this kind of win early in the season."
