Final Four Game Time Set: March Madness Rolls Without Aggies

The Texas A&M Aggies may have been eliminated from the NCAA Tournament, but the madness marches on.

From 63 teams in the NCAA Tournament to the final four competing to win the national championship. A Cinderella team, a first-timer, and two No. 1 seeds will battle it out on Saturday, April 6th.

All eight of the top-seeded college basketball teams survived into the Sweet 16, marking only the fifth time since the NCAA Tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985. 

Now, the heavyweights have fallen. No. 11 NC State is playing the role of Cinderella as the Wolfpack sent ACC-rival Duke home on Sunday, in a 76-64 come-from-behind victory. No. 4 seed Alabama is still dancing after beating football rival No. 6 seed Clemson, 89-82, punching their ticket to the first-ever Final Four.

Only three games remain to determine the 2024 National Champion. The reigning- champion UConn Huskies and Purdue Boilermakers look tough to beat. Game times are below.

In the round of 32, the Texas A&M Aggies made it tough for the top-seeded Houston Cougars. The Aggies erased a double-digit deficit to force the Cougars into overtime but stalled in a 100-95 loss in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Sunday night at FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Aggies finish the season at 21-15 with an attitude of gratitude. 

“It shows how resilient we were all season,” Wade Taylor IV said of the Aggies' comeback. “We were in a position a lot this season as far as being counted out and still fighting to get back to the top.

"I’m so proud of our guys for staying in there, hanging in there.”

Taylor IV scored 21 and pulled in a career-high seven rebounds. Graduate guard Tyrece Radford led all Aggies with 27 points and a career-high 15 boards along with six assists.
