HOUSTON, TX -- The Texas A&M Aggies suffered a major setback on the first play from scrimmage vs. the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Texas Bowl at NRG Stadium.

Rolling out for a pass on the first snap, Aggies starting quarterback Jaylen Henderson landed awkwardly on his right arm and went down in immediate, seemingly agonizing pain.

The trainers ran onto the field to aid Henderson and called for the cart while they evaluated the injury.

Shortly after that, the trainers applied an air cast to Henderson's right arm. And though he was able to walk off of the field, his night is assuredly done.

Henderson left the field in tears with the help of the medical staff and immediately went to the locker room to undergo further evaluation on his arm.

Henderson ends his season with the Aggies after making four starts including the bowl game, completing 53 of 78 passes for 715 yards and six touchdowns with two interceptions.
