After a mass exodus that included some of their top players, the Texas A&M Aggies needed to make a big impact in the NCAA Transfer Portal in order to compete for anything next season.

And that is exactly what they have done, most recently earning a commitment from former Kansas Jayhawks offensive lineman, Ar'Maj Reed Adams.

A former member of the 2020 class, Reed-Adams was a three-star recruit when he joined the Jayhawks, picking Kansas over Illinois State, New Mexico State, North Texas, and Rice.

He also ranked as the No. 1,720 prospect in the country, the No. 140 offensive tackle, and the No. 237 player in Texas.

The DeSoto (TX) native is a versatile player who has spent time both inside and outside with Kansas, playing both left guard and right tackle in 11 starts in 2023. He also played in 13 games last season, and three games in 2021 after making three starts in five appearances as a freshman in 2020.

The addition of Reed-Adams gives the Aggies 18 additions via the transfer portal - seven of which home come on the defensive side of the ball. He is also the second offensive lineman to join the Aggies, alongside Troy transfer Derrick Graham.

He will have one year of eligibility remaining with the Aggies.
