Former Texas A&M and LSU Transfer Denver Harris Commits to UTSA

Former five-star Texas A&M Aggies cornerback Denver Harris has found a new home with the UTSA Roadrunners.

Former Texas A&M Aggies five-star recruit Denver Harris has found a new home. 

According to reports from On3, Harris has committed to the UTSA Roadrunners, landing in his third destination in three seasons. 

Harris, who was the No. 1 corner and one of the top signees of the Aggies historic 2022 recruiting class, transferred from Texas A&M to LSU after the 2022 season.

Harris then entered the transfer portal after one season with LSU, which played in four games this season with the Tigers, making 7 tackles. and two passes defended.

Harris originally left College Station after multiple issues off of the field, including multiple suspensions, the first of which came prior to the team's 17-9 win over Miami in September, reportedly due to a curfew violation.

The second suspension came in October, following a violation of team rules that was reported as a post-game locker room incident.

Aggies CFB's 'Most Likely' To Improve in 2024?

The North Shore product played in five games in 2022 for the Aggies, making 14 total tackles and three pass deflections in those appearances.

Harris, who was the top-rated cornerback in the 2022 recruiting cycle, had also played a major impact for the Aggies early on this season and had earned significant playing time in an already stacked secondary.
