Texas A&M Aggies vs. No. 14 LSU Tigers Game Predictions
Texas A&M heads to Baton Rouge to take on No. 14 LSU at Tiger Stadium on Saturday for a shot at third place in the SEC West.
If the Aggies (7-4, 4-3 SEC) win over Jayden Daniels and the nation's top-scoring offense, they secure their fifth eight-plus win season in six years. Daniels, the Heisman front-runner, continues to dazzle, especially when playing in front of the home crowd.
A&M could be without quarterback Max Johnson, who's missed the past two gamers with a rib injury. Jaylen Henderson, however, has been effective when commanding the huddle, scoring six total touchdowns against one interception. History could be tied on Saturday as Ainias Smith looks for his 38th consecutive outing with a catch.
Back in College Station, athletic director Ross Bjork continues to search for the apparent heir to Jimbo Fisher. Early candidates include Duke's Mike Elko, UTSA's Jeff Traylor, Arizona's Jedd Fisch, Kansas' Lance Leipold, Kansas State's Chris Klieman and Ohio State's Ryan Day, though Day is considered a long shot heading into the Buckeyes' matchup against Michigan.
Interim coach Elijah Robinson also is expected to be considered for the position. Will Saturday mark the beginning of a new era of Aggie football?
Here are AllAggies.com staff predictions for Saturday's 11 a.m. kick.

Despite their struggles this season, the Texas A&M Aggies have had a solid defense throughout the year. Against LSU, however, I do not think that will matter.
Jayden Daniels is arguably the best quarterback in College Football and should have a big day in Death Valley. Tigers win Big.

If the Aggies have any chance of winning this game, it'll have to be a dominant performance by the defense. That said, it's Jayden Daniels' last chance to win over the Heisman voters, and that should be the story of the game.

Texas A&M's defense should slow down Daniels enough to turn points into punts. The Aggies rank second among Power 5 teams in sacks (40) and lead the country in tackles for loss (94). Can the offense find an identity that carries deep into the fourth quarter?
A&M puts a fight. Maybe even Daniels loses out on the Heisman with a downtrodden day. However, a late touchdown to Malik Nabers secures a nine-win season in Baton Rouge.
