Halftime: Texas A&M Aggies Score Late TD, Trail Ole Miss 20-14

The Aggies got a blocked field goal and a late rushing touchdown, but still trail Ole Miss by a touchdown.

Lane Kiffin is 2-0 over Texas A&M and Jimbo Fisher. And he's well on his way to securing the sweep.

Ole Miss leads Texas A&M 20-14 heading into halftime at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The up-tempo passing attack has been in rhythm for the No. 10 Rebels since the first snap.

Jaxson Dart evaded the pressure on a second-and-12 to find Tre Harris for a 39-yard gain. Finding the Aggies off-guard, Quinshon Judkins broke past a pair of defenders for a 9-yard touchdown.

Dart, who finished the first half 15-of-19 passing for 242 yards, connected with Harris two drives later for an 11-yard touchdown to double the lead. Harris leads the Rebels (7-1, 4-1) with six catches for 113 yards.

Judkins, who is coming off back-to-back 100-yard performances, terrorized the Aggies last season in Kyle Field, rushing for a carer-high 205 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries. That kickstarted a run of dominance for the Pike Road, Ala., native en route to winning SEC Freshman of the Year.

While A&M's offense remains stale, its special teams kicked into high gear with eight minutes remaining in the second quarter. Shemar Turner broke through the line of scrimmage for a blocked punt against Caden Davis, which landed in the arms of Jacoby Matthews for a 75-yard touchdown.

Dart responded on the ensuing drive, however, connecting with Jordan Watkins for a 29-yard touchdown to extend the lead by 14.

The Aggies (5-3, 3-2 SEC) continue to struggle protecting Max Johnson up the middle. Under first-year coordinator Pete Golding, the Rebels have corraled the redshirt sophomore into forcing a pair of three-and-outs. Johnson regained his footing on A&M's final offense drive with back-to-back first-down conversions from Johnson to Jahade Walker.

A&M would punch it in for six points on a 13-yard touchdown from Le'Veon Moss. Moss did not play in last week's 30-17 win over South Carolina.

Prior to kickoff, it was announced that A&M would be without starting cornerbacks Tyreek Chappell and Duece Harmon, along with receiver Evan Stewart due to undisclosed injuries. Stewart had been a consistent figure in the Aggies' passing game when healthy. Chappell has started every game on the outside since Week 1 of the 2022 season.

A&M will receive the ball to begin the second half.
