Texas A&M Lands Commitment From 2024 3-Star QB Miles O'Neill: 'Can't Wait!'
In the midst of the Texas A&M Aggies finding out their 2024 Southeastern Conference opponents Wednesday, they also got some good news on the recruiting trail.
Class of 2024 three-star Hun School (Princeton, N.J) quarterback Miles O'Neill announced he's committing to Texas A&M, according to On3. O'Neill became the seventh Aggies commit in the 2024 cycle and the second quarterback, joining top-30 signal-caller Anthony Maddox, who committed Feb. 6.
O'Neill said that doesn't matter to him.
“It doesn’t play a big factor in my decision because I like to compete," O'Neill told On3. "There is no problem for me in being a part of a two-QB class, and I can’t wait to get to work.”
The Princeton, NJ. native chose the Aggies over Michigan State, Penn State and Pittsburgh.
He is the No. 53 quarterback and the No. 16 player in the state of New Jersey, according to 247Sports.
O'Neill was offered by the Aggies just under a month ago and, since then, he has taken an unofficial visit May 21 and made an official trip to College Station Friday.
“When I went on my official visit I felt wanted,” O’Neill said. “The coaches kept telling me I was their guy and how much they wanted me. The players and the coaches all have that winning mentality.”
