Texas A&M Aggies defensive ends coach Terry Price passed away June 23, but his spirit and legacy will not be forgotten.

The Aggies are honoring price this upcoming season during every home game with a "TP" logo at the 25-yard line, in addition to wearing a "TP" decal on the back of every player's helmet for all of 2023. Price's son, Alex Price, works in the Aggies' equipment room and had the honor to place the first "TP" decal on the back of the helmets.

"This year, we play for TP," the Aggies' X account said in a post.

Price passed away after a longtime battle with Stage IV cancer, a former player told KAGS in June. He was 55.

Head coach Jimbo Fisher took a moment to remember Price at Southeastern Conference Media Days July 17.

"We lost a great Aggie, but more importantly the world lost a great person," Fisher said. "My dad always had a saying that he called 'real people.' A guy who never judged you, you could take his word, whatever he said, how he did it, you knew when you give him a job it was going to be done the right way.

"He was a selfless staff guy. He was a selfless husband. He was a selfless father. Whatever needed to be done, nothing was too little or too big for Terry Price to handle. Our program and our family at A&M and the whole college football world lost a great man."

Price graduated from Texas A&M in 1992 and played for the Aggies from 1986-89, leading the defensive line in tackles his junior and senior seasons. He began his coaching career in College Station in 2012.
