Texas A&M Aggies Postseason: How to Watch College Football Playoff and Bowl Selection Show

The Texas A&M Aggies are bowl-eligible again and look forward to the selection show on Sunday to see where and who they'll play.
In this story:

It's been another disappointing season for football in Aggieland, and the program has undergone many changes in the past two weeks. Those changes include former Texas A&M defensive coordinator Mike Elko's return as he replaces Jimbo Fisher as head coach.

While other fanbases look forward to hearing their school's name called during the College Football Playoff selection show, Aggies fans are looking forward to their bowl game. A&M became bowl-eligible for the first time since 2021 with their 51-10 win over Mississippi State on Nov. 11, just one day before Fisher was fired.

The College Football Playoff and Bowl Selection Show is on Sunday, and while the Aggies aren't in the mix for the playoffs, they'll know what bowl game they'll be a part of for interim head coach Elijah Robinson's last game with that title before Elko takes over immediately after.

There has been a bit of chaos in the College Football Playoff scenario fueled by Alabama's 27-24 win over Georgia in the SEC Championship game on Saturday night - breaking the Bulldogs' 29-game winning streak.

In the final year of the four-team playoff format before moving to 12 next season, there will be controversy.

Texas boasts the hardest strength of schedule in the country, beat Alabama head-to-head in Week 2, and just won the Big 12 Conference Championship. Yet many are campaigning for the Crimson Tide to make the playoff ahead of the Longhorns.

Then there's Florida State, who's down to their third quarterback but beat Louisville 16-6 on Saturday for the ACC title. Does Georgia still find a way in? Washington should be in after winning the final Pac-12 game ever before that conference fizzles away.
