COLLEGE STATION - Some believed Texas A&M could fall out of the AP Top 25. Despite a comeback late from Kellen Mond, the Aggies would fall to No.8 Auburn, 28-20.

Thanks though to the late comeback, the Aggies will remain ranked another week. In Sunday's latest ranking, A&M finished 23rd, the lowest of all ranked teams in the Southeastern Conference.

A&M's rushing attacked stalled against Auburn's strong defensive line. The team would combine for 59 yards while freshman Isaiah Spiller finished with a season-low 13. Mond would also throw an interception, his fourth of the season.

With A&M's schedule only expected to get harder from here, the team will be in must-win moments each week. Alabama, LSU and Georgia all ranked inside the top-five, the Aggies will need to break them down in order to contend for a chance at the SEC West title.

A&M will face Arkansas in Arlington next weekend for the annual Southwest Classic. Kickoff will be at 11 A.M. at AT&T Stadium.
