COLLEGE STATION - Texas A&M will prepare for No.1 Alabama for the coming weekend. Following facing the 17-time national champions, the No.24 Aggies will travel for the second time this season.

While A&M will need to play on a week by week basis, the game against Ole Miss has become closer to reality with a time officially announced. The Aggies and Rebels will kick off at 6:30 p.m. inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday, October 19. The game will air on the SEC Network.

Ole Miss shined last week in a lopsided victory over Vanderbilt. New quarterback John Rhys Plumlee struggled through the air but led the team with 165 rushing yards. The Rebels' rushing attack pounced on the Commodores, rushing for 413 yards and four total touchdowns.

Original quarterback Matt Coral is expected to return following his injury. The freshman had missed the past two games. Ole Miss head coach Matt Luke could run a two-system style under center to confuse the Aggies' defense.

Last season, the Aggies claimed victory at home over Ole Miss. Kellen Mond threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns while Trayveon Williams rushed for over 200 yards. Williams' loss could lead to trouble for the Aggies' offense, who has yet to find a rhythm on the ground.
