In a dominating performance, the Texas A&M baseball team cruised to a 15-5 victory over Air Force at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park on Tuesday afternoon.

The win extends the Aggies' winning streak to five games and marks their 13th victory in the last 14 contests. Jace LaViolette's standout performance led the charge for the Maroon & White, as he went 4-for-6 with two home runs, a triple, and five RBIs.

The game started with a bang for Texas A&M, as they quickly put three runs on the board in the opening frame thanks to back-to-back home runs from LaViolette and Braden Montgomery. Montgomery's homer was particularly notable, as it marked his 20th of the season, making him only the fifth player in program history to achieve this milestone in a single season.

While Air Force managed to tie the game at 3-3, the Aggies wasted no time regaining the lead. In the fourth inning, LaViolette's RBI triple and Ted Burton's RBI single helped Texas A&M pull ahead once again. The floodgates truly opened in the fifth inning, as the Aggies exploded for six runs to extend their lead to 11-3.

Their victory not only solidifies the Aggies' best start since 2015 but also extends their impressive run, boasting 13 wins in their last 14 matchups. Hayden Schott's contributions further bolster the team's success, reflecting his consistency with multiple RBIs and hits throughout the season.

LaViolette continued to showcase his offensive prowess in the sixth inning, launching a two-run blast for his 18th home run of the year. Freshman Jack Bell added to the excitement in the seventh inning with his first career home run. The Maroon & White sealed the victory with a sacrifice fly from Ryan Targac, invoking the run-rule and securing the 15-5 win.

The Aggies will head to Tuscaloosa for a three-game series against No. 12 Alabama, kicking off Thursday night at 6 p.m.
