The No. 9 seed Texas A&M Aggies are set to take on the No. 1 seed Houston Cougars on Sunday night at FedExForum in Memphis, looking to secure a major upset.

While many may think that Texas A&M will be largely outmatched by the Cougars, Houston head coach Kelvin Sampson believes that the Aggies are capable of giving his team everything they want and more in Round 2.

In fact, Sampson not only thinks that the Aggies will be a huge challenge for Houston, but that they are also talented enough to make it all the way the Final Four in Glendale, AZ.

"If you look at the SEC right now, probably the best team in the SEC right now is Texas A&M," Sampson said on Saturday via Travis L. Brown. "They're a team that can get to the Final Four. They're that good."

And based on the way the Aggies performed in their opener against Nebraska on Friday, Sampson might not be wrong either.

The Aggies went on to finish off the Huskers 98-83 to move on to Round 2, with six Aggies finishing the game in double figures. Leading the pack for A&M was Wade Taylor IV, who had 25 points and five assists.

Meanwhile, Manny Obaseki added 22 points, and Tyrese Radford poured in 20 of his own to go along with 10 rebounds and five assists of his own. The Aggies also shot 49.3 percent from the floor and 56.5 percent from beyond the arc.

In other words, the Aggies are hitting their stride at the right time.

Unfortunately for Texas A&M, they also must contend with the No. 1 defense in the country in Houston, who allows just 56.7 points per game, while scoring 73.4 points of their own on average.

Tip off between the Aggies and Cougars is set for 7:40 pm on TNT.
