It is safe to say that Mike Elko is on a roll in the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Over the last few weeks, Elko has made a flurry of moves, some of which won't be headline grabbers, while others have been nice additions.

Over the last few days, Elko has added some serious difference-makers on the defensive side of the ball, both in the secondary and along the front in the trenches.

And Saturday night, he did it again, gaining a commitment from former Wisconsin defensive lineman Rodas Johnson.

Johnson spent four years with the Badgers, coming to as a three-star recruit in the 2019 class, sitting as the No. 54 defensive tackle in the country and the No. 34 player in Ohio.

In those four seasons, Johnson played mostly defensive end in a 3-4 scheme, appearing in 29 games, and making 51 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks.

2022 was Johnson's best season with the Badgers, with the 6-foot-2, 286-pounder making 23 stops, six tackles for loss and one sack.

He will likely move inside with the Aggies to defensive tackle.

The addition of Johnson gives the Aggies 18 additions via the transfer portal - 11 of which are on the defensive side of the ball. He is also the third defensive lineman alongside edges Scooby Williams and Nic Scourton to join the team.
