2024 Four-Star EDGE Solomon Williams Commits to Texas A&M
The Aggies landed one of the top defensive prospects of 2024 when four-star Carrollwood Day EDGE Solomon Williams committed to play in College Station, he told On3.
Williams accumulated no less than 48 scholarship offers and narrowed it down to his top five which included Alabama, Clemson, Oregon, Texas and Texas A&M. Last month, he reportedly narrowed that list down to two, including the Aggies and Oregon.
Last month, he told On3 that he was close to a decision.
“My relationships with the coaches and being able to establish myself early,” Williams told On3.
During his senior season at Carrollwood Day (FL), Williams recorded 61 tackles including 32 for loss, and 15 sacks.

Williams is listed as the No. 186 recruit nationally for the 2024 cycle, the No. 20 edge rusher, and the No. 26 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
Williams will join Dominick McKinley, Dealyn Evans (should they indeed sign with Texas A&M), and Kendall Jackson on the defensive line for the Aggies in the 2024 cycle.
