Texas A&M football is well represented in Athlon Sports' Preseason All-SEC Team. On Tuesday, Athlon Spots announced the members of its Preseason All-SEC team, and no less than eight Aggies players are represented.

Wideouts Evan Stewart and Ainias Smith were named first-team offense, while Smith was also added to second-team special teams. Defensive back Demani Richardson made first-team defense and defensive lineman McKinnley Jackson was named to second-team defense.

Kicker Nik Constantinou was named to second-team special teams, and center Bryce Foster made third-team offense.

Offensive lineman Layden Robinson was given the honor of fourth-team offense and defensive line standout Shermar Turner found fourth-team defensive honors.

The Aggies football team is not short of talent after the so-called "best recruiting class of all time" in 2023. While some of those players have since moved on via the transfer portal, A&M in turn replaced them through the same method.

After a disappointing 5-7 season last year, coach Jimbo Fisher and the program hope for a better finish next year, and have eyes on an SEC West title and aspirations for a College Football Playoff appearance.
