The Aggies 2024 class just got even stronger with the commitment of 2024 four-star defensive back, Jordan Pride.

The Texas A&M Aggies got some big news on Tuesday afternoon, with defensive back Jordan Pride committing to the program.

The Blountstown (Fla.) High four-star's decision comes after a visit to College Station last week. Once committed to Florida State, Pride dropped an SEC-heavy list of top schools on Sunday evening. Jimbo Fisher's program made the cut fresh off of hosting the rising senior on the unofficial visit.

Now, he is an Aggie.

"I love the people there in Texas, including the people outside of football. It could be a great fit for me," Pride told On3.

Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Arkansas also rounded out the top options for Pride, who has been back on the recruiting market for about a month.

He now joins a 2024 recruiting class for Texas A&M that holds five other commitments, including linebacker Tristan Jernigan, defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, offensive tackle Ashton Funk, quarterback Anthony Maddox, and wide receiver Debron Gatling.

Pride had transferred to IMG Academy last season but returned to Blountstown after just a handful of games. With BlountstownPride had 20 tackles and two picks. He also played wide receiver, catching 22 passes for 667 yards and six scores. He also had one touchdown on special teams, and another off of an interception.
