Highly coveted Katy Jordan (Fulshear, TX) five-star receiver Andrew Marsh is among the recruits reconsidering the Texas A&M Aggies with the arrival of Mike Elko and his new coaching staff. 

The recent changes within the Texas A&M coaching staff have sparked renewed interest among recruits, including with Marsh, who is optimistic about the new leadership.

“Getting to talk to both of those guys just impressed me more by the type of people they are and what they have planned for the program,” Marsh told On3. “The biggest thing I could see was just the attention to detail and the way they are just way more approachable and easier to talk to. My biggest takeaway from the visit was that they plan to come in and make some big changes for the good of Texas A&M football.”

Marsh's impressive profile, as per 247Sports, positions him as the No. 18 player nationally, the fifth-best wide receiver prospect, and the No. 5 player in talent-rich Texas for the 2025 class.

His recruitment has drawn interest from powerhouse programs like the LSU Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, and Oklahoma Sooners, all eager to secure his commitment. 

With his exceptional talent and versatility on the field, around 30 schools are actively competing for Marsh's commitment.

His standout performance as a sophomore in high school further cements his status as a top-tier recruit. 

Last season, Marsh showcased his playmaking ability by recording 53 receptions for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns, signaling his potential to excel at the collegiate level.
