3 Star Guard Andre Mills Commits to Texas A&M
The Texas A&M Aggies landed a big-time commitment on Monday evening, with Brimmer And May School (Saxtons River, VT) guard Andre Mills pledging to Buzz Williams' program.
Mills picked the Aggies over pursuit from Iowa, Providence, Rutgers and UMass, among others.
And to Mills, College Station was the choice for one reason - it felt like home.
“It felt like home to me. It felt like home as soon as I went there,” Mills told 247Sports of his commitment. “The people were so welcoming. I appreciated that I was allowed to go there. They took care of me. Felt welcoming. Just security was one thing and that's important and having a good relationship.”
Mills now becomes the second commitment of the 2024 class for the Aggies, alongside small forward Rob Dockery.
The commitment of Mills comes at a great time for the Aggies, who will be losing the talents of guards Dexter Dennis and Tyrece Radford heading into next season.
And Mills is excited to get going and prove he can make a difference.
“A hard worker, a dawg,” Mills said. “Somebody that will give 110 percent effort and a leader. Somebody that knows how to play the game and knows how to win.”
