The Texas A&M Aggies and new head coach Mike Elko have been on a roll in recent weeks, both on the recruiting trail and in the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Late Saturday night, that continued to be the case, with the Aggies landing a commitment from 2025 Paetow (Katy, TX) four-star cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway.

"1000% committed SEC will be dealt with," Pettaway tweeted along with a video in his announcement post.

Pettaway picked the Aggies over Ole Miss and Oklahoma.

Now the highest-rated commit of the Aggies 2025 class, Pettaway ranks as the No. 149 player nationally, No. 21 corner and No. 24 player in Texas, per the On3 Industry ranking. He is also a consensus four-star recruit, ranking as the No. 22 corner for On3, No. 18 corner for 247Sports, No. 11 corner for ESPN and No. 13 corner for Rivals.com.
