Aggies WATCH: Texas A&M MBB Coach Buzz Williams Throws First Pitch vs. Longhorns

Prior to Texas A&M baseball's rivalry matchup against the Texas Longhorns, Aggies men's basketball coach Buzz Williams got the crowd excited with his ceremonial first pitch.
In this story:

With a baseball jersey reading No. 50, Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball coach Buzz Williams stepped up to the pitcher's mound at Olsen Field in front of his entire team.

A crowd full of Aggies awaiting their baseball team's matchup against their long-time rival Texas Longhorns watched as Williams gave a thumbs up, wound up and threw the ball to the Aggies' awaiting pitcher behind home plate.

The pitch was a ball, but it got there — and that was all Williams' players cared about.

After the pitch, Williams was swarmed by transfer guard Dexter Dennis and the Aggies, as they celebrated and hyped up their coach.

The Aggies' men's basketball team is fresh off of an NCAA tournament loss, where it dropped its first-round matchup 76-59 to the Penn State Nittany Lions, to conclude its historic season.

Since then, the players have been in "catch up" mode, sources tell AllAggies.com, but that didn't mean they couldn't enjoy watching their veteran coach at the mound before the baseball team faced the Longhorns.

And if one thing is for sure, Williams is not going anywhere next season, so the Aggies will have an ample amount of time to prepare for another season.

Until then, they will continue to build chemistry and hone their skills off-the-court, looking to build upon their success next year.
