Top 2025 Four-Star RB Deondrae Riden Plans Return Visit to Texas A&M

Top 2025 recruit Deondre Riden plans return visits for junior day, with the Texas A&M Aggies on the schedule.

One of the standout running backs in the class of 2025, Deondrae Riden putting together a string of college visits, including two in the Lone Star State.

On February 3, Deondrae Riden is scheduled to visit Texas A&M. He will also be visiting the Longhorns on January 20.

Riden is ranked as a four-star running back out of Desoto, TX with 34 FBS offers to schools like Alabama, Texas, Georgia, and Michigan just to name a few.

He also helped Desoto High School secure its back-to-back state titles this year in Arlington. 

According to On3 Industry Rankings, the running back has disclosed Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Oregon, and SMU are among the teams recruiting him the hardest. With new head coach Mike Elko wasting no time to touch base. 

Now, according to On3's Sam Spiegelman, Riden is set to visit College Station.

Riden spoke highly of Coach Elko, expressing admiration and excitement for Elko's quick outreach after taking over as head coach. 

“That’s a good hire,” Riden said. “He actually reached out to me a few days ago and introduced himself and told me that I’d be a big target. We got to know each other and told me he would meet me here at DeSoto soon in person.”

Riden is also scheduled to visit Texas this weekend on January 20.

Riden is the No. 178 overall player in the 2025 class and the No. 29-ranked recruit in the Lone Star State.

While it is uncertain when Deondrae Riden will make his final decision, his first in-person interaction with new head coach Mike Elko could make a significant impact.
