Five-Star ATH Terry Bussey Reaffirms Commitment, Signs With Texas A&M

After Battling with the LSU Tigers for his signature down to the very end, the Texas A&M Aggies will indeed sign five-star athlete Terry Bussey on Wednesday.

The Texas A&M Aggies have secured the crown jewel of their 2024 recruiting class.

After Battling for his signature down to the very end, five-star athlete Terry Bussey reaffirmed his commitment and officially signed his national letter of intent on Wednesday.

Bussey, the No. 11 overall player and No. 1 athlete in the nation, has been committed to the Aggies since September and is the biggest signing of the 2024 class for new head coach Mike Elko.

The Aggies had been trying to fend off the LSU Tigers for Bussey after they made a serious impression on him down the stretch.

That said, the Aggies had one serious advantage in the race to land Bussey - he took his final official visit to College Station last weekend, which looks to have made the difference.

That visit not only gave the Aggies the final impression with Bussey but also allowed him to spend more time with the new coaching staff, including Elko and new defensive backs coach Ishman Artiside.

'50-50 Race': Texas A&M In Danger of Losing Five Star Commit Terry Bussey?

“I’ve been getting to know the new staff. It’s been great building a relationship with Coach Elko, Coach (Artiside), and I’m building relationships with other coaches they already have on staff," Bussey told On3 in a recent interview. "They’re great guys, great people, they know a lot about football and they’re great football-minded people.”

Bussey amassed 11,342 yards from scrimmage and 169 touchdowns on offense, as well as 270 tackles, 24 interceptions (four of which he took back for touchdowns), two forced fumbles, and five touchdowns on special teams over his four years with Timpson.
