It might. not necessarily show in the rankings just yet, but the Texas A&M Aggies are off to a tremendous start in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Not only do the Aggies already have three four-star recruits in tow under new head coach Mike Elko, but they are also turning the heads of multiple other top recruits along the way.

That trend continued to be the case on Wednesday, with four-star defensive lineman Landon Rink committing to the program.

“This is my legacy, I can’t wait to be an Aggie," Rink told On3's Hayes Fawcett.

Rink, who is ranked as a four-star recruit by both Rivals.com and ESPN, picked the Aggies over Texas, Oklahoma and Ohio State.

As of his commitment, Rink ranks as a three-star prospect, 392 overall player nationally, the No. 33 defensive lineman and No. 66 player in Texas per the On3 Industray Ranking, which is a composite of rankings for the four major recruiting services.

ESPN has the highest ranking for Rink, with the outlet placing him as a four-star recruit, the No. 165 recruit, the No. 15 defensive lineman, and the No. 23 player in Texas.

Rink now becomes the fifth commitment of the 2025 class for the Aggies, joining four-star corner Deyjhon Pettaway, four-star running back Deondrae Riden, four-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins, and three-star offensive lineman Joshua Moses.

The Aggies will hope to continue that momentum going forward into the cycle, with players live five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi taking serious interest in the program as of late.
