We're not even out of spring yet, and we've already got odds for teams to win college football's ultimate prize, the national championship.

After several changes over the college football landscape like expanded playoffs, NIL rules and enough conference realignment for the next 100 years, one thing stays the same. The championship will be decided on the field, not by voters ... kinda.

Under new head coach Mike Elko, the Texas A&M Aggies hope to be a part of that expanded playoffs, and ultimately, the national championship game.

FanDuel offered its top 15 contenders for the College Football Playoff, and the rebuilding Aggies just squeaked in at the final spot.

No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies

2023 record: 7-5 (4-4 SEC)

FanDuel odds: +4000

"As I have said time and time again this offseason, if the offensive line holds up, a healthy starting quarterback Conner Weigman should thrive in new offensive coordinator Collin Klein’s spread-out offense."

Other SEC compatriots included in the list are the Missouri Tigers (No. 14), Tennessee Volunteers (No 13), Ole Miss Rebels (No. 7), LSU Tigers (No. 6), Alabama Crimson Tide (No. 4), Texas Longhorns (No. 3) and Georgia Bulldogs (No. 1).

Other teams included from other conferences include the ACC's Clemson Tigers (No. 12), ACC's Florida State Seminoles (No. 11), Notre Dame Fighting Irish (No. 10), the Big Ten's Penn State Nittany Lions (No. 9), Big Ten's Michigan Wolverines (No. 8), Big Ten's Oregon Ducks (No. 4) and the Big Ten's Ohio State Buckeyes.
