Wake Forest, Alabama, Stanford, Texas, LSU, Kentucky, Tennessee, Southern Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, Duke, Oregon, Oral Roberts, TCU and Indiana State all won their respective regional to advance to the Super Regionals, making each team one step closer to moving along to the College World Series.

Earning the chance to play in the CWS is every single team's goal at the beginning of the season, but it is one of the most difficult feats in college sports. There are over 300 Division I baseball programs in the country and only eight make the College World Series. Some schools have done it many times, while others have never done it at all. Here is a look at each Super Regional team and its CWS history.

Texas Longhorns

No team in the entire country has more CWS appearances than the Texas Longhorns with 38. This year's team heads into Super Regionals with a 41-20 record. After going 0-2 in the Big 12 tournament, the Longhorns swept the Coral Gables Regional, beating Louisiana once and Miami twice.  Texas will play Stanford in the Super Regional.

Unlike the previous two squads, the Cardinal semi-struggled in the prior round as the Stanford Regional took seven games to be decided. After knocking off San Jose State, Stanford faced Texas A&M three times in a row and won two of them. The Cardinal will face Texas in the Super Regional.

Despite going 16-13 in the SEC, the Gamecocks were the No. 6 seed in the conference tournament. They fell short, but still got to host their own regional as the 15th overall seed. They swept the Regional and will play Florida in the Super Regional round.

TCU Horned Frogs

There is an argument to be made that no team in the country is playing as well as the Horned Frogs are playing right now. Not only did they walk into No. 3 overall seeded Arkansas' stadium and win the Fayetteville Regional, but they dominated. TCU went  3-0, beating the Razorbacks twice by a combined score of 32-9. Due to Indiana Special Olympics being held this weekend in Terre Haute, the Frogs gets to host the Super Regional against Indiana State. Please consider donating to Indiana Special Olympics here.

Tennessee Volunteers

After a slow and semi-alarming start to SEC play, the Volunteers finished strong and earned the seventh seed in the SEC tournament with a 16-14 conference record. Like TCU, Tennessee was its regionals two-seed, but performed like its one seed, going 3-0 and beating Clemson, the Regional host, 6-5 in dramatic fashion. The Volunteers will take on Southern Mississippi in the Super Regionals.

Duke Blue Devils

Duke hasn't been to the CWS since 1961, but this year's team may be built for it. The Blue Devils were the second seed in the Conway Regional, a regional that went seven games. Duke beat Coastal Carolina two out of three times to advance to the Supers where it will play Virginia.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Wake Forest has been this season's most impressive team without doubt. The Demon Deacons are the country's No. 1 seed and will play Alabama in the Super Regionals. Unfortunately for Alabama, Wake Forest is 29-3 at home this year; the Deacons will be tough to beat. The program has only appeared in the CWS twice but have made both appearances count. They have one national championship and a runner-up to its name.

Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles

The Golden Eagles played in the Auburn Regional which went seven games. Surprisingly enough, Auburn was not involved in the dramatics; it was Penn vs. Southern Miss. and Southern Miss came out on top. The Golden Eagles enter the Super Regional with a 45-18 record and are riding a four game win streak. They will play Tennessee in the Supers.

Oregon Ducks

Oregon's baseball program was dropped in 1981 and brought back in 2007, so history here is limited compared to others. Despite that, this years team has won 40 games and beat Vanderbilt in the Nashville Regional. The Ducks will face Oral Roberts in their second ever Super Regionals appearance.

They are the 14th overall seed in the country and enter the Supers with an impressive 45-15 record. They will not be able to host the Super Regional due to a scheduling conflict with the Indiana Special Olympics but will look to beat the Frogs in Fort Wort to advance to their second ever CWS.

The Wildcats fell 2-1 in their season series against LSU, but will have a chance to get revenge and make history this weekend.
