The "Greatest Show on Dirt" continues in Omaha. All four first-round games this weekend have featured late-inning runs, with three of the games determined by those late at-bats.

On Friday, Oral Roberts had four runs in the top of the ninth to beat TCU 6-5. Then, Florida hit two homers in the bottom of the ninth to set up a walk-off a few batters later.

The trend continued on Saturday. In the first game, No. 1 Wake Forest found themselves in an unusual spot - down 2-1 going into the bottom of the 8th. They brought two runners across the plate, then held on in the 9th to win 3-2 over No. 8 Stanford.

In the late game on Saturday, No. 5 LSU, the Tigers got out to a 5-0 start through seven innings, the largest run margin of any game thus far. Tennessee threatened with three runs in the top of the 8th, but LSU prevailed and woe 6-3.

College World Series Game Three

No. 1 Wake Forest (1-0) 3 - No. 8 Stanford (0-1) 2

Wake Forest is competing in only their third MCWS. Stanford is competing in their third straight MCWS. The Demon Deacons have been the top team in the nation for the last half of the regular season.

Wake Forest ace Rhett Lowder found himself in an early hole, giving up two singles to the first two batters he faced. It was only the fourth time he had given up two or more hits in an inning all season. He would walk the next batter to load the bases with no outs. A hit-by-pitch would put Stanford on the board first, but the one run would be it for the inning.

Wake would tie it in the 2nd, and Stanford would retake the lead in the 3rd. The score remained 2-1 until the bottom of the 8th. Designated hitter Danny Corona would get a base hit with two runners on. Wake would take the lead at 3-2 and hold on for the win.

Winning Pitcher: Seth Keener; Losing Pitcher: Ryan Bruno; Save: Camden Minacci

College World Series Game Four

No. 5 LSU (1-0) 6 - Tennessee (0-1) 3

This game was all about LSU ace pitcher Paul Skenes. He pitched 7.2 innings and threw 12 strikeouts. More than half the outs the Tigers got while Skenes was on the bump were from his strikeouts.

The Tigers were able to get a run in the 2nd and 3rd. They added two more in the 6th and another in the 7th. They looked to be cruising to a win, up 5-0 going into the 8th. However, Tennessee didn't go quietly, scoring three runs in the top of the 8th.

LSU added an insurance run with a bottom-of-the-8th home run and took care of business with the Volunteers' last Volunteers'at bat.

Next up: No 1 Wake Forest and No. 5 LSU advance to the winners' bracket winners'et Two. They will play each other on Monday at 6 p.m. CT. No. 8 Stanford and Tennessee moved into the losers' side of tlosers'ket. They play an elimination game on Monday at 1 p.m. CT.
