The "Greatest Show on Dirt" continues in Omaha. On Tuesday, there were two elimination games, one from each bracket. Finally, there was one game with no late-inning runs (TCU vs. ORU) and two with run margins larger than 1-3 runs. TCU avenged their Friday afternoon loss to Oral Roberts to move onto the semifinals with a 6-1 win. No. 5 LSU beat Tennessee for a second time this tournament to send the Vols back to Knoxville.

College World Series Game Nine

TCU (2-1) 6 - Oral Roberts (1-2) 1

In a rematch of the first game of the Men's College World Series, TCU got the early advantage and never looked back. TCU moved to 7-1 in the 2023 NCAA Tournament and 13-11 all-time in the Men's College World Series.

College World Series Game Ten

No. 5 LSU (2-1) 5 - Tennessee (1-2) 0

It didn't take long for LSU to get the offense started. Centerfielder Dylan Crews got a lead-off walk, advanced to second on a passed ball, and crossed home plate after a couple of singles later in the inning.

The score would remain 1-0 until the top of the 6th when LSU would bring another run home after a double, a bunt, and a throwing error. In the 8th inning, Tennessee would bring four different pitchers to the mound. Between them, they would hit three LSU batters to load the bases, allowing one to score on a wild pitch. Then in the top of the 9th, Crews would get a no-out, two-run home run to seal the deal for the Tigers.

LSU started Nate Ackenhausen, usually a reliever for the Tigers. Ackenhausen gave LSU six innings. He gave up four hits but no runs to get the win.

Winning Pitcher: Nate Ackenhausen; Losing Pitcher: Drew Beam; Save: Riley Cooper

Tennessee became the fourth team eliminated from the Men's College World Series.
