NCAA Baseball Regionals: Monday Results

Sixteen teams made it through the weekend and now prepare for the Super Regionals this week.

The Road to Omaha has begun. You've got Bowl Season in December-January, March Madness, and then June baseball – the trifecta of ultimate college sporting events.

Sixty-four teams began their journey on Friday. The round-robin double-elimination tournament has ended in 16 Regionals across the country (well, mainly in the Southeast). Sixteen teams won their Regionals and will now play in the Super Regionals this weekend. 

Seven games were played on Monday to determine the final teams to advance to the Super Regionals. 

Here are the results of Monday's games:

Gainesville Regional

  • #2 Florida (4-1) 6 - Texas Tech (2-2) 0
    #2 Florida advances to the Super Regionals

Fayetteville Regional

  • TCU (3-0) 12 - # 3 Arkansas (2-2) 4
    TCU advances to the Super Regionals

Baton Rouge Regional

  • #5 LSU (2-0) 13 - Oregon State (2-1) 7
    LSU advances to the Super Regionals

Stanford Regional

  • #8 Stanford (3-1) 7 - Texas A&M (2-1) 1
    Stanford advances to the Super Regionals

Conway Regional

  • Duke (3-1) 12 - #10 Coastal Carolina (3-2) 3 
    Duke advances to the Super Regionals

Lexington Regional

  • #12 Kentucky (3-1) 4- Indiana (2-1)  2
    Kentucky advances to the Super Regionals

Auburn Regional

  • Southern Miss (2-1) 11 - Penn (2-1) 7
    Southern Miss advances to the Super Regionals

  • Oklahoma - (1-2) in the Charlottesville Regional
  • Oklahoma State - (0-2) in the Stillwater Regional (only Big 12 school to host a Regional)
  • TCU - (3-0) in the Fayetteville Regional - advanced to Super Regionals
  • Texas - (3-0) in the Coral Gables Regional - advanced to Super Regionals
  • Texas Tech - (2-2) in the Gainesville Regional - played in Regional Finals
  • West Virginia - (1-2) in the Lexington Regional
