Men's Basketball Poll Watching Week 13: TCU Back In Top 25

After going 2-0 on the road last week, the Horned Frogs are No. 25 in both polls this week.

The TCU Horned Frogs (15-5, 4-3) are once again ranked in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Polls this week. They are ranked No. 25 in both polls. This comes after getting two road wins last week, including a Quad One win against then-No. 15 Baylor.

The Frogs debuted in the polls for the first time this season at Nos. 19/22 in Week 11 after wins over Oklahoma and Houston. Last week, after losing to Cincinnati and Iowa State, the Frogs fell out of the polls. This week, after defeating Oklahoma State 74-69 in Stillwater and then winning a triple overtime thriller over Baylor 105-102, TCU is once again ranked.

The Top Five in both polls remains the exact same as last week - UConn, Purdue, North Carolina, Houston, and Tennessee. Wisconsin, Duke, and Marquette all had big jumps this week. However, the team that jumped up the furthest was Iowa State which moved up 11 spots in the AP Top 25 and 7 spots in the Coaches Poll after defeating Kansas over the weekend. 

The Big 12 leads the nation in ranked teams for the 10th consecutive week (since Nov. 27) and has eight rated teams for the second week in the last three. 

The Big 12 also has the lowest NET ranking at 46.0. The nearest competition is the Big Ten at 63.7.
