The TCU women's basketball team started the season with a 14-0 record, going undefeated in nonconference play and setting a program record winning streak. Then came Big 12 Conference play. The Horned Frogs got their first conference win over BYU, but then they lost back-to-back games against Baylor and Oklahoma State.

This week, because of those two losses, the Frogs were dropped from the Week 10 rankings in the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll. They are back to "receiving votes," where they were for the last several weeks this season.

South Carolina is the top team in the nation, followed by UCLA. The remainder of the Top 10 had a few teams shift positions, but no new team entered the Top 10 this week. The order varies between the two polls, but the remainder of the Top 10 include Iowa, Baylor, Colorado, NC State, LSU, Stanford, USC, and Texas.

In addition to Baylor, Texas, and TCU, the Big 12 has two other teams either ranked or receiving votes - Kansas State and West Virginia.

Here are the Big 12 teams either ranked or receiving votes:

  • Baylor - No. 4 in the AP Top 25 and No. 7 in the Coaches Poll
  • Texas - No. 10 in both polls
  • Kansas State - No. 12 in both polls
  • West Virginia - No. 24 in the AP Top 25 and receiving votes in the Coaches Poll (#26)
  • TCU - Receiving votes in both polls (#30/#33)
