Michael Rice and Corey Santee are the two newest official assistant coaches to the TCU men's basketball coaching staff.

Jamie Dixon announced Thursday that Rice has been promoted to Assistant Coach/Scouting, and Santee promoted to the title of Assistant Coach/Player Development. Both have been with the program for multiple years, serving different roles previously.

Rice is in his fourth season on the men's basketball staff. He previously served as a graduate assistant from 2020-22 before becoming Coordinator of Video Operations and Analytics last season. He played college basketball at Franklin and Marshall.

Santee, a hall-of-fame player at TCU from 2001-2005, is in his seventh season on the men's basketball staff. Following his eight year professional career, he returned to TCU as a graduate assistant from 2019-21 before being promoted to player development in the summer of 2021.

These promotions are tied to the new NCAA rule that allows for two additional assistants to participate in coaching activities outside of recruiting.

Rice and Santee are both very well deserving of this new role, and look for them to make a big difference on the court for TCU men's basketball this season.
