No.24 TCU defeated Texas Tech Saturday 83-82 in a game that came down to the final possession.

The win in Lubbock marked the first time the Frogs had accomplished the feat under head coach Jamie Dixon. The win also marked the first season sweep of the Red Raiders TCU has had since 2015.

TCU now sits back at a .500 record in conference play at 8-8 as Texas Tech falls to 5-11 in conference.

To cap off his 15-point performance, JaKobe Coles stepped up and knocked down two free throws with 4.0 seconds remaining to give TCU an 83-82 lead. This was after the Frogs had squandered a 12-point lead in the final 7:39 of the game.

Emanuel Miller was impressive again Saturday, notching a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Eddie Lampkin and Souleymane Doumbia were unable to play Saturday, making Xavier Cork the only available center on the roster. Cork only played in 13 minutes because of foul trouble but scored 10 points in the effort.

Looking ahead, the Frogs have only two games remaining before heading to Kansas City for the Big 12 Conference Tournament. They currently sit two games behind Baylor and Kansas State for a tie in third place in the conference.

They welcome in No. 8 Texas coming off a loss to No. 9 Baylor to Schollmaier Arena Wednesday. Tip-off is at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN 2.
