Ernest Udeh Jr., one of the top available transfers in the country, has announced via his Twitter account that he intends to suit up for Jamie Dixon and the Horned Frogs next season. He chose TCU over Kansas State and Duke.

According to 247Sports, Udeh Jr. was the 32nd-best player in his class coming out of high school in Orlando, Florida. The former McDonald's All-American joined the conference rival Kansas Jayhawks and spent one season there, where he played in 30 games and averaged 2.6 points per game on almost 8.5 minutes. He shot an impressive 75% from the field and also demonstrated his ability to protect the rim, averaging almost a block per contest.

Offensively, Udeh Jr.'s best game of his career came against Seton Hall, where he scored 10 points in just 12 minutes, going 4/4 from the field and 2/2 from the free throw line. He had four games in which he tallied multiple blocks, including an early season matchup against the Duke Blue Devils, where he finished with four blocks.

His numbers don't jump off the page at you, but Ernest Udeh Jr. is exactly the player that TCU needs. With the exit of Eddie Lampkin Jr. and the potential draft declaration of Emanuel Miller, the Frogs needed a big player desperately, and Udeh Jr., 6-11, 250 pounds, fills that void. He is extremely gifted physically and plays the game hard and fast. He has shown the potential to be an elite big man who can block shots, rebound, and rim run, all things the Horned Frogs lacked last season.

Currently, 247Sports has him as the 15th-best transfer in the country. Fellow TCU transfer, Jameer Nelson Jr., is ranked 8th on the same list. Jamie Dixon's recruiting class is stacking up to be one of the most impressive in not only the Big 12 but the entire country. TCU is still waiting on decisions from Damion Baugh and Miller, but regardless, the Frogs have reloaded and seem ready to make another run in the country's toughest conference.
