Men's Basketball Spotlight Game of the Week: No. 7 Duke at No. 3 North Carolina
If you are a fan of college basketball, and assuming you are because you are reading this, then boy, are you in for a treat this weekend. There are three top-ten matchups, but none will be better than Duke at North Carolina, a featured rivalry with decades of hatred for one another.
The Blue Devils will be led by Kyle Filipowski, an elite center who is shooting at a 50% rate from the court while averaging just over 17 points per game and eight rebounds to go with it. Behind Filipowski, Duke lacks a number two, but only because the rest of their depth aids in their scoring and rebounding.
On the other hand, the Tarheels are led by one of the best guards in the country, R.J Davis. Davis has established himself as one of the top offensive guards in the country, ranking ninth in the country in points per game at 21.5. North Carolina will be looking to get back on track after being stunned against Georgia Tech in the midweek game, losing 74-73.
Both teams are equally matched in nearly every statistical category besides rebounds per game, where the Tarheels hold the lead and will look to use it as their key to victory for the top-ten matchup.
