For the second year in a row, TCU basketball is going dancing.

Jamie Dixon and the Horned Frogs earned a No. 6 seed in the West Region of the bracket. They will play the winner of Nevada and Arizona State, who will play on Wednesday, March 15.

Also in the West Region is No. 1 Kansas, who TCU has faced twice already this season. The Jayhawks are the favorites to come out of the region, but other teams like Gonzaga, UCLA and UCONN. If the Frogs win their first round matchup, they will likely see Gonzaga, who plays Grand Canyon in the first round, barring an upset. The Bulldogs have not missed the tournament since the 1996-97 season.

Seven teams from the Big 12 made the field of 64. No. 9 West Virginia will play No. 8 Maryland, No. 3 Baylor will play No. 14 UC Santa Barbara, No. 3 Kansas State will play No. 14 Montana State, No. 6 Iowa State will play the winner of Pittsburg vs. Mississippi State, No. 2 Texas will play No. 15 Colgate and No. 1 Kansas will play No. 16 Howard.

TCU has not made back to back NCAA tournaments since 1951-52 and 1952-53. Jamie Dixon has earned his third tournament berth since taking over for the Horned Frogs in 2016.
