Men's Basketball: TCU Lands 4-Star Forward Micah Robinson
TCU men's basketball head coach Jamie Dixon has landed his first recruit in the Class of 2024, four-star Micah Robinson from Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA. Robinson chose the Horned Frogs over his final four list, which included LSU, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech. He will return to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex after originally being from Frisco.
Robinson is a 6-foot-6 small forward who can score at all levels and is a ferocious defender. Rated the 73rd best player in the country for the class of 2024 by ESPN, he chose TCU over other Big 12 schools, like Kansas, Kansas State, and Texas Tech.
Robinson told 247Sports that he liked how TCU made him feel like a priority. "I saw that on the visit I was on and how dedicated they were in staying in touch with me," Robinson said.
He also discussed how his final visit allowed him to see what the environment was like at TCU. Dixon and staff had him visit during the Colorado game this season, where he got to see how much pride TCU students had in their teams.
This is a huge get for the Frogs and great start to the class of 2024. Look for them to try to land recruits like Trent Parry, David Punch, or Miles Goodman to add to the class in the near future.
