March Madness: How To Watch TCU vs. Arizona State
Hello!
SI here, the guy who knows nothing giving you everything you need to know about TCU athletics. And that includes basketball. Or so they tell me. Regarding the TCU versus Arizona State game on Friday, here is the relevant information:
Tip off is at 9:05 pm CT at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
The game can be viewed on truTV with Lisa Byington, Steve Smith, Avery Johnson, and Andy Katz.
Alternatively, TCU fans can listen to the game at 570 KLIF Radio with Brian Estridge and John Denton or listen to or watch the game live from the Riff Ram app.
And now for the inexplicably obligatory narrative.
I'm confused. Naturally, as a self-identified "sports ignoramus," this occurs more regularly than I would like to admit.
But my first question, if the reader will indulge me, is why in the hell is TCU playing the Arizona Sun Devils in Denver? Presumably, if a convenient location were desired, New Mexico would be the logical locale--or even El Paso, for that matter, so broad is this glorious state of ours. But granting those who determine the locations for these tournaments, these dancing games, as they call them, do not understand geography, and felt the game needed to be played due north, was it really necessary to choose the furthest northeast corner of that state?
Just askin.'
And speaking of which, dancing. I fail to understand what dancing has to do with basketball. Indeed, I would imagine dancing while dribbling would be a remarkably complicated task, and considering traveling is a penalty, one would imagine dancing on the court to be astringently discouraged.
But then what do I know?
Nothing. That's the answer. At least nothing I would ever admit to shy of death.
As for my predictions of who wins? Who knows? They pay me not to.
