It was a silent night at Capitol One Arena in the nation's capital after Emanuel Miller banked the game-winning three-pointer as time expired. Miller would finish the game with a career-high 29 points, and it was his sixth straight game with at least double-digit points.

The Horned Frogs started the game as they have every game so far this year, attacking with their fast-break offense. The Frogs, which have the country's number-one fast-break offense, succeeded in forcing turnovers and applying pressure. Micah Peavy threw down a beautiful dunk in the first half while displaying the transition offense.

The Horned Frogs would continue to dominate the first half before going into halftime up 44-36. The team would try to keep up the pressure, increasing their lead to 15 points with 18 minutes left in the game, but Georgetown wasn't going away quickly. The Hoyas would go on a seven-point run of their own and cut the TCU lead to only three points with over thirteen minutes left in the game. Georgetown would take the lead with over nine minutes left in the half, scoring 64-63.

The Horned Frogs would respond, led by JaKobe Coles, who would score a three-pointer with just under a minute and a half left to tie it up. Coles would finish the game with 17 points and that clutch three-pointer to keep the game winnable. With under three seconds remaining, Micah Peavy would heave the inbound pass to Emanuel Miller, who made the three-pointer although his foot was on the out-of-bounds line. While many would call it a holiday miracle, the line referee did not make an out-of-bounds call on the play. Therefore, it could not be assessed after review, causing the game to end with an 84-83 TCU victory.

Next up: The Horned Frogs will return to the court on December 9 against Clemson in the Hall of Fame Series in Toronto at 3 p.m. CT.
